Help and frequently asked questions
Two kinds of question turn up. The first kind is about how any of this works, and those are answered below. The second kind is about your specific order, and those can only be answered inside your agent account, because we cannot see it.
Where an answer involves money, a policy or a deadline, we say which official page decides it. That page wins over anything written here.

Questions people actually ask
Twelve of them, in the order they usually come up.
Can I order from Weidian without an agent?
Rarely, and not reliably. The checkout expects a Chinese payment method and a Chinese address, and the seller ships domestically. Some people manage it with a Chinese friend or a mail forwarder, but payment is the step that usually fails, and a forwarder will not buy the item or inspect it for you.
Is Weidian owned by Tencent or by WeChat?
No. Weidian is run by Beijing Koudai, a company founded in 2010. The confusion comes from how much of the selling happens through WeChat, which Tencent does own.
What is the difference between Weidian, Taobao and 1688?
Taobao is a very large general marketplace, 1688 is oriented to wholesale, and Weidian is a tool that lets individuals and small businesses run their own shops. Agents typically accept links from all three.
Does a Weidian Spreadsheet cost anything?
No. A finds page is a catalogue of product cards with links. You pay the agent for the item and the shipping, and nothing to the catalogue.
The link on a card does not work any more.
Sellers pull listings constantly. The same product usually sits in several shops, so searching the item name on the platform is faster than waiting for a card to be updated.
How much is shipping?
It depends on weight, on box dimensions and on the route, so no honest guide can answer it. LoongBuy runs an official estimator that asks for a destination, a weight in grams and three dimensions in centimetres. Its own page notes that routes it does not operate are run by third party carriers whose prices move with the market.
What are QC photos?
Photographs the agent warehouse takes of your item after the seller delivers it and before it is packed for the international leg. LoongBuy states that its team inspects each item, takes photos and stores it. It is the only look at the real object you get before shipping.
How long can items sit in the warehouse?
Agents publish a free storage window and change it with promotions, so read the current figure on the agent own page. The window is what makes consolidation possible.
Can I ship perfume or something with a battery?
Perfume is a flammable liquid and most air routes refuse it. Batteries depend on whether they are built into the product, on the carrier and on the destination. Check the official shipping restrictions before you order.
Will I pay customs duty?
That is between you and your own customs authority, and it depends on your country and the declared value. Rules change: LoongBuy posted a notice in June 2026 about the European Union low value parcel import duty policy and a related fee adjustment.
Which payment methods work?
You pay the agent rather than the Chinese seller. As of 4 August 2026 the LoongBuy footer carries marks for Apple Pay, blik, Skrill, PayU, Trustly, Alipay, Bancontact, Zip, VISA, Mastercard and JCB. Check the live page before relying on any one of them.
Something went wrong with my order. Can you fix it?
No. We are a guide, not the agent. We cannot see, change, cancel or refund any order. Everything about your order lives in your agent account, and the after sales section of the official help centre is the right route.
Finding the official help centre
Ten sections down the left, and two quick start cards. If a question here touches fees, storage, restrictions or claims, the answer is on one of those pages and not on this one.
What to ask us, and what to ask the agent
Ask us when something on this site is wrong, unclear or out of date. That includes broken links, a category note that no longer matches reality, and any figure that has drifted. Corrections are the most useful mail we get.
Ask the agent about anything with an order number attached to it: payment, refunds, storage deadlines, route choices, claims and compensation. We have no access to any of it, and guessing on your behalf would be worse than useless.
