Who writes this, and who pays for it
Weidian Spreadsheet is an independent guide to buying from Weidian, the Chinese marketplace, when you live somewhere it does not ship to. It is written and maintained by the Weidian Spreadsheet editorial desk, and the site has one job: make the process understandable before you spend anything.
We are not Weidian and we have no relationship with Beijing Koudai, the company that runs it. We are not a shopping agent either. We sell nothing, hold no stock, and cannot see or change any order.

How this site makes money
We are a partner of LoongBuy. Links from this site to loongbuy.com carry a referral code, and if you sign up and order through them we earn a commission. That is the entire business model, and it is why the site exists.
What that buys you is worth stating plainly. It means we have an incentive to send you to one agent. It does not change the freight you pay, and it has not stopped us writing the section about when you should skip agents entirely. If you find a place where the incentive has bent the writing, tell us and we will fix it.
What we do and what we will not do
The second column matters more than the first.
What this site does
- Explains the platform and the process in plain English
- Points at official pages for anything involving money
- Dates every figure and names where it came from
- Publishes corrections when we get something wrong
What this site will not do
- Publish prices, fees or delivery times as if they were stable
- Claim any agent is cheapest or fastest
- Sell you anything or take your payment
- Pretend to be neutral about the agent we earn from
Sources
What we checked, and when
Everything factual on this site traces to one of these. Where a page quotes a figure, it names the source and the date in the text.
| Source | What we take from it | Last checked |
|---|---|---|
| loongbuy.com home page | The four step flow, the platform names in the page title, the payment marks and the dated notices | |
| loongbuy.com/estimation | The estimator field names and the official wording about third party carriers | |
| loongbuy.com/help | The section names in the help centre | |
| weidian.com | What the official Weidian site is for, and that it is Chinese language and merchant facing | |
| Public company records and reporting on Beijing Koudai | That Koudai was founded in 2010 and the Weidian app launched in 2014 | |
| The catalogue we keep | The listing count, counted by us |
Contact and corrections
Write to About this guide and corrections. Corrections, broken links, takedown requests and complaints all reach a person, and corrections get priority over everything else.
One thing we cannot help with: your order. We have no access to any agent account. If you have an order number, the after sales section of the official help centre is the only route that will get anywhere.
